My family, both teachers, moved to Lake Monticello when I was in grade school. I graduated from Fluvanna County High School and went on to graduate from the University of Delaware, and be accepted to Law School.
In 2003, I decided that I just missed Central Virginia too much, and returned home to be with family and work as a Buyer’s Agent in our family’s Real Estate business.
I came back, joined the family business, and also served as a basketball referee for area schools.
One of my major passions is real estate technology and social media marketing. I authored a national blog for several years that addressed industry issues and offered insight in to both the local and national real estate markets. From there, I served as a national speaker on the subject of technology and online marketing, and spoke at conferences & associations throughout the U.S. In addition, I was chosen, out of more than 1.3 million Realtors, by the National Association of Realtors to chair their NAR Technology Forum. And from there, I was named by Inman News as one of the top 100 Realtors in the U.S.
I firmly believe that technology has the power to deliver unbeatable customer service and can empower the real estate consumer.
When Purchasing A Home - Knowledge Is, Indeed, Power.
